An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and creative Social Media and Content Executive to join the Communications Team at The Birley Clubs based in Mayfair, London.


The Birley Clubs comprise five of London’s most exclusive private Members' Clubs: Annabel's, Mark's Club, George, Harry's Bar and Bath & Racquets. Renowned for their unique atmospheres, exceptional service, and commitment to excellence, each club offers a distinct experience for its discerning members. Our mission is to maintain the highest standards of luxury and exclusivity.


We are seeking a creative, dynamic, and highly motivated Social Media and Content Executive to join our content team. This role is instrumental in enhancing the digital presence of all five Clubs, creating engaging content that reflects the exclusivity and sophistication of the Birley brand. The ideal candidate will be a strategic and creative thinker with a passion for storytelling, social media, and digital marketing within luxury hospitality.


Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation:

  • Develop, curate, and manage engaging content across all social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) for all five clubs.
  • Regularly update and monitor social media calendars for consistent posting and engagement.

Photoshoot Briefs and Management:

  • Assist in developing briefs for photoshoots, outlining creative concepts, shot lists, and desired visual aesthetics.
  • Collaborate with photographers, stylists, and other team members to ensure the photoshoot aligns with brand guidelines and objectives.
  • Coordinate logistics for photoshoots, including scheduling, location scouting, and equipment coordination.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Events, Membership, F&B) to ensure shoots align with the Clubs’ activities and events.

Social Media Strategy:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness and engagement.
  • Monitor, analyse, and report on social media performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement, assessing the effectiveness of campaigns and content.
  • Provide regular reports on key performance indicators, social media growth, and audience engagement.
  • Stay updated with the latest social media trends and best practices.

Brand Management:

  • Ensure all content adheres to the brand guidelines and tone of voice of each club.
  • Support in maintaining a consistent brand image across all digital channels.

Community Engagement:

  • Foster and manage online communities, responding to comments and messages in a timely manner.
  • Engage with members and potential members to build a loyal online community.

Collaboration and Coordination:

  • Work closely with the wider Communications team to align social and content strategies with broader marketing goals.
  • Coordinate with external supplies such as photographers & videographers, as needed for photoshoots, content creation and campaigns.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in social media management, content creation, or a similar role, preferably in the luxury hospitality or lifestyle sector.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, analytics tools, and trends.
  • Exceptional creative writing and storytelling skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in graphic design and photo/video editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
  • A genuine passion for luxury brands and creating high-quality content.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple projects simultaneously within a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Flexibility to adapt to the evolving needs of the Clubs and their Members/Followers.
