About the Role SSP is on an exciting digital journey and we are now on the lookout for a creative and innovative superstar social media manager to help us launch, grow and scale our social media accounts for some of our top brands. Are you exceptionally talented at creating content that captures attention and stops people from scrolling? Do you thrive on building social communities? Reporting to our Head of Brand, with support from each of the brand’s Brand Managers, you'll be responsible for creating and curating social content for Millie's Cookies, Upper Crust, and AMT Coffee across all national channels, building the channels for growth. You'll bring a willingness to generate new ideas, experiment with our content, and work collaboratively with the brand, creative, and digital teams. Job LocationThis is a field-based role, with the expectation of 1 day per week in the London office with the team, and the rest of the week out in our brands or wherever the business needs are. Nationwide travel will be required.What you'll be Doing: Develop and execute comprehensive social media content plans, write engaging captions, and create compelling content by leveraging the latest trends. Manage the day-to-day handling of all social media channels, adapting content to suit different channels, scheduling and posting as well as driving conversations and interactions with our followers to generate reach and engagement. Responsible for the creation and development of all content including photography, videography, graphics & reels. You will create your own content on site, in our brands, as well as managing the creation of content via our partner videographer and photographers. Ownership of photography & videography briefs, managing shoots, managing photographer and videographer relationships, budget, guidelines and usage rights agreements. Maintain relationships with creatives and design agencies for on trend collaborations and design projects for all brands. Identify brand relevant influencers, develop strategy and build influencer relationships. Monitor, track, analyse and report on relevant KPIs, and recommend improvements to increase performance. Delivers monthly, quarterly, and yearly presentations and reports for social media with statistics, learnings, and recommendations. Contribute to wider marketing team calendars with ideas and activations for the brands as well as provide social media strategy for each activation. To be Successful in the role you will need: You will take full ownership of our social presence with input our brand managers. The right candidate for this role needs to have a creative eye for feed content, be constantly evolving our content strategy in line with platform algorithms and ensure we are pushing boundaries, leading in the latest innovation and trends. Expert knowledge of all social platforms – reporting, algorithms and best practice for both paid and organic activity. Experience in capturing and creating content, ensuring relevance and cut through Planning & organisation skills with production of a social media plan/calendar. Strong copywriting skills. Highly creative with an eye for innovation and new ideas. A can do, positive and adaptive attitude. Essential Skills: Minimum 3 years’ experience in a hands-on Social Media role. Excellent hands on experience of tracking and analytics. Experience of working within hospitality or retail with growing their social media and communities. Excellent communicator.
