About the role:
This Social Media Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day delivery of our organic social media strategy for our brand MedExpress, from content creation and community management to scheduling and analytics. We’re looking for a creative force, passionate about healthtech and content creation, who spends significant time on Instagram and TikTok - a social native who deeply understands organic trends and is eager to bring this expertise to the world of social performance.

What you'll be doing:

Scheduling and Reporting

  • Carry out the day-to-day channel management, uploading and scheduling content on channels as needed.
  • Work with the social media manager to contribute to weekly and monthly reports, providing updates on community sentiment and content performance and how these contribute to social media KPIs.

Content Creation

  • Liaise with the clinical and creative teams, briefing in information and content for social media.
  • Work closely with the social media manager to develop innovative ideas to drive community and engagement on all social channels, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, and Reddit.
  • Create engaging, creative, informative, and trend-focused content for our social media channels.

Community Management

  • Action community management across channels: including social listening, responding to messages, and joining related conversations to build and grow the community.
  • Work with the customer care social team on applicable community management, providing strategic insights, guidelines, and support with responding and actioning resolutions.
  • Cooperate with the rest of the social media team on the customer testimonials project, sourcing and incentivising customers to share their stories in various content formats.

What you'll bring to the role:

  • 6-12 months of experience in a similar role is preferable.
  • A good understanding of social media scheduling tools and analytics such as SproutSocial, Hootsuite, and Later.
  • Ability to shoot, create, and edit social media content (and be comfortable starring in it too!).
  • A can-do, positive attitude and excellent organisational skills.
  • A passion for nurturing a community and chatting to people about healthcare.
  • Someone that understands that social media is 24/7, and the need to be reactive.
  • A social media fiend, who has their finger on the pulse when it comes to new trends and releases.
  • An interest in healthtech is a must! #LI-hybrid
