Job Description

Help us make change happen.

It’s a fantastic time to be joining the HR & OD Team at Brent Council as Social Media/Digital Recruitment Advisor. As a result of our ambitious new transformation programme and significant investment in our HR and OD services, we have created several exciting new roles in the team.

You will play a key role in supporting our managers and delivering a culture change programme. Therefore, we’re looking for change makers, visionaries, and inspiring people who share our aspiration to deliver a first-class HR & OD service.

If this sounds like you, we want to hear from you!

About the role

As the Social Media/Digital Recruitment Advisor at Brent you will be responsible for using digital channels such as social media to proactively source passive candidates.

You’ll also promote recruitment campaigns and create and develop a robust social media strategy. You will play a key role in supporting the Council’s recruitment needs and deliver a tailored service to different departments.

We encourage flexible working, meaning you will have the option to work two days a week from home.
About you

You will be a passionate HR professional who cares deeply about your work and making a difference.

It’s essential for success in this role that you have experience in a complex organisation of delivering in-house recruitment and direct sourcing through attracting both active and passive job seekers.

You will have a good understanding of the various social media platforms that can be used for recruitment services and demonstrate an ability to use them to deliver advertising campaigns.

You’ll also be an effective communicator, with an ability to manage internal and external stakeholders, as well as draft recruitment advertisements and job packs.
