Social Media Executive German Speaking Job In London

A luxury beauty brand is on the hunt for a German-speaking Social Media Executive to be based in London.

The role

As a Social Media Executive, you will cover the day-to-day management of the brand’s social channels, focusing primarily on German and English channels. Your key responsibilities include:

• Day to day running of the brand’s German social media channels. Scheduling content, responding to all messages, engaging with the community.
• Community management of the UK social channels across paid social on Facebook, IG, TikTok, YouTube.
• Content creation both independently and with the in-house design team, paying particular attention to TikTok.
• Understanding of algorithms across all social channels in order to grow engagement, following and community of all international channels.
• Continuous relationship building/seeding of new influencers and tastemakers to create a network of German influencer partners.
• Ability to identify German-speaking talent to create a stream of UGC video content for digital advertising across Meta and TikTok.
• Briefing, negotiation, and creation of contracts for all paid partners, working within set budgetary guidelines.
• Focus on growing all social channels, reporting on successes and challenges, and sharing with the wider business.

How you’ll dazzle us

Our ideal candidate is fluent in German (spoken and written), with experience managing social media channels and growing engagement and brand awareness - ideally in the beauty industry. Intermediate to advanced IT skills in Microsoft Office is required, along with a degree or equivalent qualification in the relevant field. You should have strong written and numerical skills, with the ability to analyse data and translate it into actionable insights. Understanding and knowledge of wholesale and retail with excellent commercial awareness and knowledge will prove useful. You have experience organising and hosting events with a high level of attention to detail. As a charismatic relationship builder, you are able to develop strong relationships with press, influencers and contacts within the beauty industry.
