We're looking for an experienced Social Media Marketing Executive to join our growing team on a maternity cover, FTC basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate social marketeer to devise and deploy B2B prospect and scheme member communications, liaise with a variety of B2B partners regarding marketing campaigns and develop and execute organic and paid social media marketing campaigns for customer acquisition and retention, to drive brand awareness and scheme membership.

About this role:

The main purpose of this role is to devise and deploy engaging social media campaigns across B2B prospect and scheme member communications, liaising with a variety of B2B partners regarding marketing campaigns and to develop and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns for customer acquisition and retention, to drive brand awareness and scheme membership through our online channels. Additional hours of work may be required on some Exhibitions / Events.

What you will be doing:

  • Assisting the delivery of marketing plans for the company’s brands and partnerships which are aligned with business objectives and planned budget.
  • Aiding in the development and delivery of the ‘go to market’ approach that creates awareness and interest across key brands.
  • Creating imaginative and innovative online and social content and campaigns that reinforces brand awareness, market position and creates cut-through to key audiences.
  • Understanding and interpreting measurement analysis, ensuring that learnings from evaluation is fed into the next cycle of activity.
  • Ensuring that digital marketing content and assets meet the company’s needs and follows their in-house style guide as well as maintaining the overarching social media marketing calendar.
  • Working with the Senior Marketing Manager and colleagues to foster relationships both internally and externally to deliver committed results within the agreed budget.
  • Developing and working with design agencies/teams and freelancers to aid with effective campaign deployment, such as social media cards and digital content.
  • Co-ordinating and managing social media presence for external events and exhibitions, as well as attending and supporting with event set up and admin.
  • Updating reports on the key success factors, trends and insights and make recommendations for continuous improvements made from the data.
  • Understanding budget management and track spend to forecast and proactively manage campaign activity.

Capability, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Strong working experience within a similar role, working across a mix of marketing activities with a strong focus on digital and social channels (ideally within the travel or hospitality sectors)
  • First-hand experience of devising and managing social media marketing campaigns across multiple channels (organic and paid), working with analytical tools for insight
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with all team members
  • Genuine passion for marketing and social media
  • An understanding of B2B and B2C marketing
  • Confident copywriter – with experience of writing engaging social content
  • Integrated campaign planning, with the ability to manage a dynamic social calendar
  • Self-reliance and resilience, with personal authority and tenacity with achieving results
  • Ability to foster good relationships internally and externally
  • Ability to build relationships with multiple teams and stakeholders
  • Able to project manage multiple projects, including live events
  • Event and exhibition experience are desirable
  • Social media marketing (both paid and organic) are essential.

As an ideal candidate, you will also have first-hand social media marketing experience, including writing and publishing social media posts across various social and digital channels, while managing a dynamic content calendar.
