The Role

This pivotal role within our Communications team will shape how we engage with job seekers, recruiters and hiring managers via social media.

We're looking for an experienced creative with a knack for crafting captivating content that resonates with our target audience while leveraging data to optimise our campaigns.

You might have experience working in-house within a social media role, or you may have cut your teeth within an agency. Either way, with your expertise you'll be instrumental in building our social media presence, building meaningful connections with job seekers and industry professionals, and shaping our company's image on social platforms.

This role will report directly to the Head of Brand and Communications.

Key Responsibilities

Manage all in-house social media activity to hit engagement KPIs: Creating, curating and posting regular high-quality content to drive awareness with job seekers and recruiters across various social media platforms, including Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok

Act as a centre of excellence: You will be the social media expert for the marketing team, guiding colleagues on best practices and supporting the Sales team on utilising LinkedIn to engage with prospects, via sales enablement tactics

Own all social media measurement: Develop a robust measurement framework to assess effectiveness and impact against investment e.g. campaigns and channel performance, and extract learnings to improve future performance

Be a social innovator: Monitor social media trends, tools, and applications, particularly TikTok, to ensure the CV-Library Group channels remain relevant and innovative

Develop social media launch plans for new products, whitepapers, or other marketing initiatives, to amplify wider marketing initiatives

Storytelling: Apply excellent communication skills, to create, adapt and tailor messaging and content to engage both clients and candidates

Community management: Engage and grow with our online community by responding to comments, messages and mentions in a timely and professional manner

Work with CareerTok influencers and brand ambassadors: to amplify our reach and engage with a broader audience

Ensure all social media content aligns with our brand voice and guidelines

Requirements

3+ years' proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role. You will have a strong understanding of social media platforms, particularly TikTok and best practices

A continuous learner with your finger on the pulse, you will be naturally curious and keen to test and learn from emerging social trends. You'll know your quiet quitting' from your quiet vacationing' and will be able to suggest ways CV-Library can use social media to be a part of these conversations

A love for storytelling, particularly when it comes to inspiring those looking for work

Strong organisational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and prioritise effectively. You have an equal willingness towards rolling up your sleeves and taking a step back to see the big picture

Excellent attention to detail, and the ability to spot and correct typos or grammatical errors in copy or design assets, even when working at pace

Creative flair with the ability to create engaging content or to suggest ideas that challenge the status quo

Analytical, strong with numbers, with the ability to interpret social media metrics to optimise content and strategy

Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g. Hootsuite, Buffer, Spout, Social)

Beneficial Requirements

Experience with graphic design and video editing tools (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite and Canva). You will be working closely with our in-house design team, but any prior design experience is a bonus!

Knowledge of SEO and content marketing principles

Familiarity with influencer marketing and collaboration
