Social Media Account Manager

Remote (UK)

£30,000 - 40,000

Our team has created social media content for some of the world's most promising tech solutions to climate change.


Based on feedback from our clients, we have developed an award winning approach to online marketing for green tech organisations in biotechnology, construction and finance.


And we are now looking for a Social Media Account Manager to create and deliver social media content for our green tech clients.


The role

You’ll be working closely with founders and marketing teams to understand their businesses, research topics and industry news, and create well-informed and compelling social media posts that drive audience engagement.


Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing a deep understanding of our clients’ scientific and engineering solutions.
  • Undertaking market research and competitor research to understand the wider industry context and to inspire content ideas.
  • Creating social media content strategies at both an individual and company level.
  • Working closely with cross functional teams to create and deliver social media content including our clients’ marketing teams, graphic designers and industry experts.
  • Copywriting and editing for social media and online blogs or newsletters.


Who we’re looking for

  • At least 3-5 years experience working in digital marketing or social media with a scientific or engineering background.
  • Good people skills ; someone who works well with clients and cross functional teams to deliver projects and offer an excellent customer experience.
  • A direct and clear communication style, with a curious nature and a very high standard for knowledge.
  • Excellent copywriting skills, with experience of writing blog posts, articles and social media posts.
