THE ROLE

This role is devised and execute integrated paid-for digital campaigns. You’ll work closely with the Marketing team and select agencies to help plan out the media budgets whilst ensuring that KPI’s are met. In addition to this, you will optimise our organic social content across all chosen platforms.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Direct the social and paid-for digital media strategy across the retail portfolio driving reach and engagement.
  • Collaborate with creative (Marketing Services) to develop and build integrated digital campaigns and engaging digital content
  • Lead in developing and implementing comprehensive social media strategies (organic content calendars & influencer programme) that align with brand goals and channel objectives.
  • Ensure that the business is at the forefront of new digital display technologies and formats, utilising dynamic ads, rich media and high impact formats.
  • Drive idea generation for social campaigns and oversee delivery through internal teams.
  • Plan and train junior team members ensuring best practices are maintained.
  • Translate monthly and campaign-specific reporting into tangible actions to improve engagement and to share these with marketing managers.
  • In conjunction with our Logistics business, plan and deliver paid campaigns to drive lead generation and the development of our own lead pipeline.
  • Manage key agency relationships/budgets relating to media buying and social media.
  • Ensure data is at the heart of decision-making leveraging insight to inform content strategy, set objectives, measure and report success.
  • Key controls: Image library maintenance, secure document storage, procurement protocols, GDPR compliance, brand compliance, budgetary control, platform security – password controls.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Will be a confident, pro-active self-starting individual who works well under pressure within a high-volume environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. An inquisitive mind and a drive for continual improvement.
  • Solutions driven, innovative and creative thinker.
  • Experience in scoping and preparing briefs / managing associated budgets.
  • Deep understanding of Social Media platforms including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube as well as planning and scheduling platforms. Proficiency in Google Analytics.
  • Experience leading small/medium scale projects and/or campaigns, with knowledge of digital marketing.
  • Desirable - recognised marketing qualification or prepared to study for one.
  • Significant experience in a marketing related position
  • Experience performance managing service providers and agencies.
