Responsibilities
- Prepare a comprehensive content strategy plan - this should include a content strategy for Kai product, the Kai team, and founder content.
- Continuously brainstorm and explore innovative ways to create captivating and engaging content.
- Stay updated with industry trends and integrate them into Kai Collective's content strategy.
- Ideate new content formats that transcend trends. Pre-plan content ideas and concepts before shoots for efficiency & collaborate with our creative manager to agree on all shoot day content needs.
- Plan and execute content ideas to the highest standards.
- Ensure there is ongoing content for all social media platforms and for every single drop.
- When you are provided content captured by members of the team, collaboratively plan the full storyline, and edit it into the final video.
- Maintain a roster of models and content creators (International, US & UK based) who we can work with. Edit content to a very high standard.
- Actively seek out and onboard new content creators as necessary. Attend and document shoots and events.
- Always create content tailored to the specific social platform. Ensure that we maximise utility of existing content.
- Create concepts for daily Instagram stories. Collaborate with creative manager to ensure that we have all content necessary for the mailing list.
- Effective documentation of content ideas, songs, themes, and trends for everyone’s easy access and viewing.
- Community engagement on all social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, Threads, Mailing List). Influencer outreach and engagement.
TikTok Specific:
- Have a deep understanding of how TikTok works and what type of content performs well on the platform.
- Ensure the daily posting of 2-3 TikTok videos that reflect Kai Collective's identity.
- Develop unique approaches to execute trends that align with Kai Collective's branding and style, independent of industry trends.
- Stay up to date with current TikTok trends and identify opportunities for Kai Collective to participate.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- At least 2 years’ work experience in a similar role.
- Proven experience in content creation, social media management, or a similar role.
- Be comfortable in front of the camera and have a vibrant personality.
- A strong sense of personal style and deep interest in fashion.
- A strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and algorithms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly creative and able to think outside the box. Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
- Proficiency with content creation tools and software, such as video and picture editing apps.
- Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign & Premiere Pro.
- Strong interpersonal skills for working with content creators and team members.
Requirements:
- Must be prepared to work very hard and meet challenging deadlines and demands.
- Must be London-based and able to travel into our office or to an event 4 or 5 days a week.
