️ What's the Job? As a Social Media Strategist for MPowered Mortgages, you'll be at the forefront of shaping our brand's presence in the mortgage industry. This role is ideal for people passionate about taking a leading role in defining and driving social media strategy at a high-growth fintech scale-up. Key Responsibilities: Content creation : develop and produce content tailored for mortgage brokers and financial professionals, highlighting how our proposition is transforming the mortgage marketing Strategy development : create and implement a social media strategy that focuses on engaging and educating the mortgage lending community. Industry monitoring : stay up-to-date with mortgage industry news and trends, identifying opportunities to create relevant, timely social media content. Product education : work closely with our tech team to deeply understand our products, translating complex features into clear, benefit-focused social media content for mortgage brokers. Engagement and community building : actively engage with mortgage brokers and industry influencers on social media to build relationships and foster a community around our brand. Analytics and reporting : monitor social media performance, focusing on metrics that reflect engagement and lead generation within the mortgage sector. Use data to refine strategies and improve results. Channel optimisation : identify and utilise the most effective social media channels for reaching mortgage brokers, such as LinkedIn, X, and industry-specific forums. Cross-functional coordination : Collaborate with Sales, Tech, and Creative teams to ensure a unified message and effective content that resonates with the mortgage industry. You'll be joining a team of incredibly passionate people who are at the top of their field. You should be experienced in and comfortable with: Creating and executing social media strategies. Developing content that educates and engages. Utilising social media tools and platforms to maximise reach and engagement. Analysing social media performance metrics to drive strategy and content decisions. Staying current with social media trends and best practices, particularly those relevant to the mortgage lending industry. Engaging with the mortgage community through live events, webinars, and industry discussions on social media. Experience with the basics of coding and an undergraduate degree from a top-rated university in marketing, business, economics or a relevant STEM would be a bonus. ️ How We Interview... If your application stands out, you can expect the following interview process: # A 30-minute chat with one of the team. # A take-home task focused on developing a social media strategy tailored for mortgage brokers. # A 60-minute interview split between two team members, where you'll discuss your take-home task and strategy approach. A Note on Location. Our offices are in Guildford and Leeds. We support hybrid work but expect you to join us in an office about twice a week.
