Are you a skilled and dedicated social work professional seeking a new challenge? Look no further! Our esteemed client, a leading local authority in South London, is currently seeking passionate Advanced Practitioners to join their dynamic MASH Team within Children's Services.
As an Advanced Practitioner within the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) Team, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and families in the community. This is a fantastic opportunity to utilise your expertise to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments and investigations into child protection concerns, collaborating with partner agencies as necessary.
- Providing expert advice and support to colleagues within the MASH Team, including social workers and other professionals.
- Developing and implementing effective intervention plans to address the needs of children and families, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Engaging with children, families, and stakeholders to gather information and facilitate informed decision-making.
- Contributing to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and best practices within the MASH Team.
Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker with relevant professional registration (SWE).
- Substantial experience working within children's services, ideally in MASH.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough assessments and make evidence-based decisions in complex situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of individuals and stakeholders.
- A commitment to upholding ethical standards and promoting the rights and well-being of children and families.
