Liquid Personnel are recruiting Senior Practitioners for Durham’s Families First Service where you will work with our most vulnerable children, young people and families.As a Social Worker, you will: Our Families First teams are statutory teams responsible for children and young people from the point of referral to the point of permanenceIn these teams you will complete single assessments, work with children on a Child in Need basis, undertake Child Protection Work and enquiries under Section 47, as well as Public and Private Law.Ensuring the child is central to your workProviding help at the earliest opportunitySupporting and promoting community resilience through the provision of locally delivered services in local communities which make sense to familiesDelivering evidence-based interventions with a focus on safe escalation and de-escalation of cases As a Social Worker, you are required to: Hold a Social Work England registration.Be eligible to work in the UK.Hold a full UK licence.Social Work Qualification, degree or equivalent.At least 2 years’ experience as a social worker within children’s services.
