Software Asset Manager
A brand new and exciting role has arisen for a Software Asset Manager to join a leading charity based in Vauxhall, London with hybrid working agreement of one day on site. As the Software Asset Manager, you will be responsible for taking charge of the design, development, and implementation of SAM practices, by overseeing procurement, financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting. The Successful applicant will have specialised knowledge in handling SAM ownership from start to finish, with a particular focus on Tier 1 vendors such as Microsoft and Oracle.
As the Software Asset Manager, you will be working closely with the IT Services Manager, using your expert SAM knowledge to make data driven decisions to enhance the value and performance of both current and prospective software portfolios. In this position it is vital to have hands on experience with ServiceNow for managing software discovery, software models, entitlements, and overall software management.
Skills required for the Software Asset Manager are:
- Expert knowledge on ServiceNow
- Certified in Software Asset Management (IATAM or CSAM)
- ITIL 4 Certified
- Proven experience managing software procurement
- Proven experience implementing and maintaining SAM policies and procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary: £40,000 - £49,000 + Excellent benefits
Location: Vauxhall, Central London (1 day per week in office)
