Software Developer – Contract – 3 Months – Hybrid – Outside IR35
VIQU has partnered with a leading retail organisation who are seeking a Software Developer with strong experience in backend .Net development to support on projects that will have a huge impact on the organisation moving forward.
The successful Software Developer will have extensive experience with backend data driven development and SQL.
This is a hybrid role, with one day per week onsite in Leicester.
Essential Skills and experience:
Experiences Software Developer with a focus towards back-end development
Extensive experience working on data driven development
.Net / .Net core, C#, ASP.Net, MVC
SQL Databases / NoSQL databases & Strong SQL Server Knowledge
Agile (SCRUM)
Experience with RESTful APIs, and/or microservices
Familiar with source control such as GIT
Familiar with TypeScript, and common JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React and Knockout.js
Domain Driven Design (DDD) / SOLID
TDD, Unit Testing, Automated Testing
Understanding branch management, pull requests, code reviews

IR35 status: Outside IR35 – You will also be expected to complete a QDOS assessment
Rate: £350 per day
Location: Remote based with 1 day per month on site (Leicester)
