Title: Software Engineer, (Full Stack JavaScript, React + Node)

Salary: £55,000 - £100,000 (depending on experience and seniority)

Office Policy: Hybrid (Minimum 2 core days per week in the office)

  • Lottie’s Marketplace (B2B2C) - A free service that helps families and retirees find the UK’s best care homes and retirement living properties.
  • Found by Lottie (B2B) - CRM software mapped to the care and retirement living industries unique customer journey.
  • Seniorcare by Lottie (B2B) - Employee benefits platform, helping corporates deliver outstanding eldercare support to their employees.

Since launching, Lottie has now supported hundreds of thousands of families navigate the stressful later living system, while helping thousands begin their next chapter in later life.

The opportunity

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Engineering function. It’s a passionate, growing team and one that values autonomy, empowerment and bias-to-action. We work in cross-functional product teams across several key products - Our Marketplace, an exciting Saas product and Seniorcare. We've also started building internal tools to supercharge our customer-facing and partner-facing teams. We want to help bring technology to every corner of the care home sector to improve the experiences of care-seekers, residents and care homes… and our Engineering team is central to our mission.

What you’ll be doing

  • Help build our technology from the ground up - working on our high traffic B2C site that leverages some of the newest technologies
  • Work across the the stack to build out our market leading products - we want engineers to own the systems they create and have the principle of “you build it, you run it”
  • Contribute to decision making while collaborating with the wider product team.
  • Work with the PM, designers and business stakeholders to help review user feedback and build user driven products.
  • Own the development of new features from conception to completion.

Who we’re looking for

  • Prior experience with (at least some of) our stack - JavaScript, React, Node would be useful but not required. If you like to get your hands dirty on new things we will help skill you up
  • Enjoys working in cross functional teams - PMs, UX, Designers and Data.
  • An appreciation for using the right tool for the right job - we use AWS, Golang, Typescript, Prisma, Strapi amongst many other things
  • Product focused and empathetic towards the users of our product.
