This role suits a software engineer with 3-5+ years of experience working with .NET and JavaScript. They have a very talented team and there will be great opportunities to develop your skills and learn from some truly talented developers.
The role is hybrid (3 days a week in the office) so you'll need to be able to commute to Exeter before you start.
Position: Software Engineer
Salary: £40,000-£45,000
Location: Exeter - Hybrid (3 days a week in the office)
Responsibilities
- Craft user experiences: Design and build front-ends that are intuitive, adaptable to different devices, and engaging for users.
- Architect powerful back-ends: Develop secure, scalable, and efficient systems and APIs that can handle growth and demand.
- Write code for clarity and longevity: Focus on clean, well-organized code that's easy to understand and maintain, following best practices and design patterns.
- Be the problem-solver: Identify and fix complex technical issues across the entire development stack, delivering solutions in a timely manner.
- Collaborate effectively: Work closely with the product and testing teams throughout the development process, readily adapting to valuable changes.
- Embrace continuous learning: Stay current on emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in full-stack development, and proactively propose innovative ideas to improve products and processes.
