Engage Recruitmentare seeking a Mid/Senior Microsoft Dynamics Software Engineer to work for our client, a top 10 global insurance company.
If you are well versed in scrum/agile methodology and experienced as a C#/.NET Full Stack Software Engineer, we would like to speak with you about our need for aMid/Senior Full Stack Software Engineer position, working ina hybrid role and based in Bridgend.
The role
Are you interested in designing and developing state of the art eCommerce applications and to developing API solutions to help clients?
You will be responsible for all stages of the development lifecycle including but not limited to
reviewing the specification/requirements documents
designing
coding and testing
deploying code to different environments.
You will interact on a regular basis with local specialty underwriters, and the business analysts as well as IT specialists in our corporate office.
The role will be developing applications that will interface with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and you will likely have experience in the Microsoft Dynamics:
Customer Service module
Field Service modulePower PlatformAzureAzure Portals
Ideally, we are looking for candidates with exposure and expertise in one or more of the following:
C#?
.NETRESTful APIsHTML & CSSMicrosoft SQL ServerPostgreSQLCI/CD Patterns and Pipeline sAWS or Azure
Nice to haves:
Angular
TypescriptC# (expert proficiency)
Experience:
Ideally, as the successful candidate you will bring a solid foundation of at least 2-5 years of relevant Software Development experience along with:
Exceptional attention to detail
Sound communication skills, both written and verbal
Advanced organizational and analytical skills, possess the ability to problem solve
Flexibility and willingness to learn
Preferred Technical Experience:
Demonstrated knowledge of how and when to use software design patterns
Proficiency in agile/scrum software development
Advanced software development experience in designing and building eCommerce web applications
You will really stand out if you bring with you the knowledge of Web Services/APIs/Microservices architecture and agile development experience in a scrum/DevOps environment.
Education requirements
Degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred
Benefits Package
Salary Negotiable depending on experience
35 hour working week
Monday - Friday (1 hour lunch)
£360 per year well-being payment (£30 per month)
Private Healthcare
10% total pension (non-contributary)
25 days holiday + bank holiday (increased allowance for long term service)
