They are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join their growing team in Northamptonshire. As a key player, you will drive the development of their .NET cloud-based systems and physical devices, contributing to groundbreaking R&D projects that shape the future of building performance measurement technologies.
What You’ll Do:
- Engage in the full software development lifecycle, utilising your expertise in C#/.NET, front-end frameworks like Vue.js or React, and database design.
- Create feature-rich, scalable, and secure applications that provide an exceptional user experience.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and cutting-edge solutions to technical challenges.
- Conduct applied research, testing, and development tasks, requiring a blend of technical, analytical, and scientific skills.
- Collaborate closely with team members in agile development processes, ensuring best practices and coding standards are upheld.
Who You Are:
- A degree-qualified professional in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering with at least 2 years of experience in C#/.NET development.
- Proficient in front-end development, database design, and knowledgeable in DevOps and cloud computing (Azure/AWS).
- A passionate and inquisitive problem-solver with strong interpersonal skills and a systematic approach to technical challenges.
- Experience in IoT or embedded software development is a plus.
