Your role will be essential in helping customers build and maintain data applications, utilising proprietary commercial software, to ensure that data driven projects can be rapidly prototyped in line with customer needs.
You will
- Develop front-end/user facing applications
- Collaborate on software development practices, including version control and pull request management within team settings
- Work closely with data scientists, analysts, product owners and other engineers
- Ensure seamless data integration and software functionality
- Utilise PySpark for large scale data pipelines
- Retrieve data and integration into data processing pipelines
What we are looking for
- Proficiency in python, or familiarity with similar languages
- Awareness of data engineering principles and practices
- Capability to independently own and execute tasks
- Ability to communicate complex material in clear and concise manner to a range of user abilities
