The opportunity: one of the global leaders (Nasdaq traded) in sports betting technology are looking to expand their software engineering capability this summer. Platforms developed by the business serve as the backbone to some of the best known sportsbooks in the world. They combine bleeding edge engineering approaches with world class artificial intelligence and machine learning to develop solutions used by many of the most recognisable brands in world sport. The business has a track record of developing its senior leaders from within, which is why this Software Engineer role stands to be so exciting.

What you'll get: an opportunity to work on business critical problems alongside some of Europe's brightest software engineering talent. The chance to develop your craft alongside a diverse and incredibly talented group of engineers. You will be exposed to distributed systems supporting high traffic and rapid transactions, built using asynchronous programming and TDD. The work you do will ultimately feed through to millions of customers across the world.

What you'll bring with you: we are looking for bright & engaging engineers with experience of building complex distributed systems. You will ideally be familiar with asynchronous & multithreaded application development, and a firm grasp of modern deployment techniques and tooling would be highly beneficial. The core platform utilises .NET 8 with services deployed on AWS & Kubernetes. Familiarity with a similar environment would be ideal but isn't essential.

Working patterns: this is a UK remote first role. There is an office in London for quarterly town halls, and teams may meet on an ad-hoc basis as and when.

Salary & package: basic salary worth up to £120,000 supported by a generous wider package.
