Role: Software Support Technician
Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 DOE

Software Support Technician

Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the support and software team, to help solve incidents, service requests and alter SLA agreed requests, making sure support tickets are logged and managed. Properly.
* Develop and manage tickets in Azure DevOps, and ensuring the are logged and managed appropriately.
* Develop, implement and maintain knowledge based articles.
* Help the software team with releases and new feature testing.
* Help the software team with new developments.
* SQL Database reports, performing SQL Queries, updating records, and performing backups and restorations.
Essential Skills:
* Experience multiple IT software applications (Web and Windows)
* Azure
* SQL
* Bespoke Applications
* Ticketing Systems (Preferable Azure DevOps)
* Strong customer service skills
* MS Office
* Knowledge/ understanding of DevOps life cycle.
* Strong knowledge in SQL DWL
* Understanding of relational databases
* Understanding of database normalisation
Desirable Skills:
* Python
* Django
* .NET
