The role of Software team Manager is to create enhance and maintain a capability within the Company, co-ordinating direct reports, and partners in the UK, US, and globally to deliver new software, and upgrading current software.Software Team Manager - Responsibilities Manage internal and external teams that design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs for detection systems, applications, tools, and networks across multiple technical domains.Apply your knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, operating systems, and databases according to product design specifications and requirements. Act as a mentor to the team in both the US and UK
Software Team Manager - Required Skills/Experience:Proven extensive management experience (5+ years) in departments that run multiple simultaneous bids and projects at any given time across a multi-disciplinary team that is distributed across multiple continents.Knowledge and solid experience of relevant languages. In rough order of importance: C/C++, JavaScript/HTML/CSS/Angular, Unix shell scripting, Java, Python.A history of working in fast paced environments, handling multiple, competing priorities.A deep understanding of secure software development lifecycle and modern softwareIf you're interested, please apply by emailing a copy of your most up to date CV and your current availability.
