Title: Software Team Manager
Location: Remote
Salary: up to £70K
Due to project demand, a well-established software development company are looking for a Software Team Manager to join their global IT department.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and enjoy sharing ideas for current and future product development. My client is happy to interview candidates from a non-managerial background, but ideally is looking for someone from a technical background in either software development, product development or architecture.
You will be responsible for:
Working alongside IT Directors to create architectural strategies and development roadmaps.
Engaging with developers to ensure that they have the correct resources to deliver projects successfully.
Liaising with clients, Directors and stakeholders to report key findings throughout the product life cycle.
Sharing ideas for continuous growth and future projects.
Supporting teams to reach their goals, helping fewer senior developers when necessary.
Technical skills:
Previous experience in either a software development or web development role
Understanding of the full SDLC or road mapping.
Able to work in an agile environment with Sprints, SCRUM's etc.
An understanding of technologies such as: C#/.Net, Java, JavaScript or PHP.
Confident liaising with technical/non-technical individuals.
