Job Description

As a Technical Solutions Architect, you will create the technical vision and identify best-fit architectural solutions for our future printing platform needs; develop the design of new applications, and provide regular support/guidance to project teams on complex coding, issue resolution, and execution. You will collaborate and innovate with some of the best talents in the industry to create and implement high-quality solutions. You will work with software vendors to evaluate potential offerings. You will work closely with our business stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure the technology meets the functional requirements of the business and is high performing, resilient and scalable. The location for this position is the United Kingdom or Europe. This position may require 20% travel.

Qualifications

Basic

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
  • At least 8 years of experience with Information Technology.
Qualifications

Experience & Skills

  • Excellent communication and strong analytical skills
  • At least 8 years of in-depth experience in development using modern technologies and frameworks (Java, Java script, .net, python, githubs, Azure API, Microservice, SQL etc.)
  • 4+ years of practical experience with projects in Printing Industry is highly preferred.
  • Experience with variable data printing solutions is an advantage.
  • Working knowledge of cloud computing (Microsoft Azure preferred).
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion & CPQ an advantage.
  • Be familiar with IT Security best practices.
  • Work with automation engineers to design frameworks and automation solutions for testing.
  • Experience with source control, build and deployment tools such as Jenkins, Maven, Git, TeamCity
  • Experience of producing clear, concise and meaningful test statistics and performance reporting.
  • Working experience in test data management tools (e.g. Quality Center, ALM, Jira)
  • Work efficiently and demonstrate a high level of energy
  • Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
  • Experience with high volume, high-performance solutions preferred
