We are looking for a South Maintenance Technicians Manager (UKI Customer Engineering).
LOCATION: Worcester or Didcot or Hersham or Basingstoke or Llanwern or home-based anywhere in South of England
EDUCATION: Degree or other level of technical qualification
EXPERIENCE with leadership and experience with installing, designing and maintenance of equipment offered within the Air Products portfolio (industrial gases), leading teams of field technicians.
CONTRACT: permanent
SALARY: competitive salary + annual bonus + competitive benefits + company car
The South Maintenance Technicians Manager leads a team of 12 to 15 technicians who carry out maintenance on all industrial gases’ equipment, such as tanks, food freezing tunnels, nitrogen generators, hydrogen and medical oxygen panels installed at customers and CryoEase and packaged gas depots across various regions in the south of the UK (from the south coast all the way up to Crewe/Manchester).
As the South Maintenance Technicians Manager (UKI Customer Engineering), you will
- Lead maintenance activities.
- Achieve defined service levels.
- Build knowledge within the team - develop strategies, working across functions and with other teams, training, success planning.
- Be a lead for core technical questions (CryoEase liquid bulk, hydrogen business), maintenance and incident investigations.
As the South Maintenance Technicians Manager (UKI Customer Engineering), you already are or have
- Degree or other level of technical qualification
- Experience of installing, designing and maintenance across a broad range of equipment for industrial gases
- Positive approach to customer service
- Ability to problem solve, troubleshoot under pressure
- Excellent focus on and understanding of operational safety
- People management experience
- UK Driving License; an active driver
- Flexible to travel often within the south of the UK
