ROLE OBJECTIVE

This role is integral to the development and progression of our therapists who promote our Brand, the spa operation is the very essence of our brand and as such the role is a key part of our operation. We work in times of constant evolution and development, it is therefore an essential requirement that you remain to be knowledgeable in your specialist area and use this knowledge to support your team and ensure that the highest standards are met.


MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To provide full comprehensive training
  • To research, identify, develop and train in new treatments to establish Champneys as a brand leader.
  • To work with the Head of Training to ensure they have the support they need to develop the business.
  • To identify training needs within the Spa Department.
  • To provide reports to the Head of Training as and when required
  • To attend regular training meetings
  • To work as a team sharing knowledge when needed, helping colleagues and promoting good staff morale, respect and support.
  • To ensure brand standards are reached across the group
  • To improve and develop therapist in their treatments
  • To set an example at all times
  • To assist with admin tasks as and when required
  • To regularly communicate with the Head of Training


HEALTH & SAFETY

  • Ensure that all members of staff are aware of all aspects of safety connected with their roles.
  • Ensure that all members of staff are wearing protective clothing if necessary for a particular job or treatment.
  • All members of staff must be properly trained and qualified before doing any treatment/class.


KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING

  • Knowledge of all treatment procedures and products and to be able to adapt treatments to a clients need.
  • Knowledge of the teams’ skills and areas trained in so that work can be allocated effectively.
  • Knowledge of all Fire, Health and Safety Procedures, ensuring your team are also knowledgeable.


Due to the nature of the business and natural evolvement this list is not exhaustive. You will be required to carry out any reasonable task in line with the role that you are employed to carry out.


Please note the below;

This role is 50% training and 50% carrying out treatments.

Successful candidates have to be able to travel and stay away if required

Level 3 beauty qualification and training experience required
