A leading multi-site B2C and B2B retailer is looking to recruit a Space Planner to play a leading role in the optimisation of retail space via the creation of planograms, to enhance the customer journey and maximise sales.

About the Job
In this exciting and challenging role you will be responsible for composing planograms and store design layouts that will enhance the product visibility and optimise the use of selling space within stores, thus maximising the profitability of each branch. Being able to analyse sales data and utilise consumer insights will be a crucial element of the role as will working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders including buying and marketing. You will also be required to work closely with store management colleagues to implement visual merchandising plans and you will use your expertise to guide them on space utilisation and visual display strategies.
About you
To be considered for this role, you will have some experience in space planning and building planograms in a retail environment, where you will have used some form of space planning software such as JDA, Relex, Apollo et al. This will be underpinned by a good understanding of visual merchandising principals as well as strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret sales data and consumer behaviour insights. In addition, you will be well organised, able to prioritise and able to to embrace change in a fast-paced retail environment.
