Food Production Operative Contract Type:Permanent Hours of work: 40 hours per week – 3.00pm until finish (around 10.00pm/11.00pm) Sunday to Friday - 5 days out of 6 daysLocation: James Hall & Co. Ltd, SPAR Distribution Centre, Bowland View,Preston, PR2 5QT Salary:£11.48 p/h Based at our state-of-the-art distribution centre on the outskirts of Preston, James Hall & Co. Ltd. have been established for over 150 years proudly serving communities across the north of England as supplier and distributor to over 500 SPAR stores.We are proud to be one of the biggest employers in Lancashire with over 4000 colleagues who represent our core values of passion, enterprise, and family every single day.About the RoleWe are looking for enthusiastic individuals to be part of a team of Food Production Operatives who will play a key role in the production of ready to eat pots, and the packing of goods. What will I be doing?As a Food Production Operative, you will support the Production Supervisor with preparing and manufacturing pasta salads, coleslaw, and sandwich filler pots in line with our high standards. You will help maintain a safe and clean environment whilst adhering to Health & Safety and Food Hygiene requirements. A Few Things About YouWe are ideally looking for someone who has experience in a food production environment or similar however, full Food Safety and Hygiene training will be delivered to successful candidates.
