Role Overview Vario is a market leading alternative legal services provider within the law firm, Pinsent Masons. It is unique in the legal sector. Vario is a practice group within Pinsent Masons which incorporates; Flexible Services, Consulting and Technology, Legal Project Management and Managed Legal Services (MLS). This role sits within our MLS team.As the Vario team grows, we are recruiting a Specialist to support our MLS Delivery teams in ensuring that we are delivering a world class legal service to our practice groups and external clients. Reporting to our Delivery Manager, the successful candidate will: ​ Working as a subject matter expert, this role will support our lawyers with a variety of more complex technical work in their area of expertise as well as client relationship activity ​ Leading delivery of small-medium scale projects and lower complexity matters in collaboration with LPM’s and/or practice group fee earners Supervise and quality check the work of more junior colleagues Mentor junior members of the team and support their upskilling Support the Senior Specialist and the Delivery Manager to develop and implement new Intellectual Property work services and solutions Our standard working hours are 9.30am-5.30pm, however, we are happy to consider flexible working requests. Please note, the internal job title for this role is MLS Specialist.Candidate OverviewWe are looking for candidates who ideally hold the following skills and experience:  Demonstrable experience of working on Intellectual Property work types  Broad experience of working in a large, commercial law firm Understanding of levels of service and capabilities required in alternative delivery models What can we offer you?
