Specialist Nurse ENP-Circle Health Group Salary: up to £43,806 (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

Full Time – Permanent

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced ENP to join our friendly and supportive team at the Alexandra Hospital Private Walk-In Centre.
You will have completed the Minor illness module and have also completed the non medical prescribing course.
You will provide assessment, diagnosis and treatment within an agreed scope of practice whilst being accountable and self directed in line with code of professional conduct. You will practice autonomously within an acute setting to provide patient centered quality care
This is a Full time role for 37.5 hours a week to meet the demands of the hospital.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
Registered Nurse Level 1 / Diploma / BSc in Nursing. Or
Registered Nurse Level 2 - Relevant Competencies for the role.
Advanced communication skills
Teaching experience
Audit experience
Excellent organisation and multitasking skills required.
Understanding on workload and shift management.
Patient and caring approach to customer care
Essential:
Evidence of advanced clinical competence including range of extended skills
Completion of a minor injuries course
Nurse Prescribing course
Minor Illness course
Desirable:-
Further Management related qualification/training
MSC clinical examination
Duties of this role include:
Prepare and maintain clinical records of patient care, with reference to Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC) standards for records and record keeping.
Conduct yourself professionally within the standard and framework provided by the NMC Codes of professional Conduct and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Main duties of the job
The Emergency Nurse Practitioner will have the necessary specialist skills and knowledge to work as an autonomous practitioner in the management of Minor Injuries and Minor Illness. Utilising clinical audit, research, supervision of practice and teaching, they will monitor and improve standards of care by efficient and effective use of resources.
The post holder will provide strong clinical leadership as well as facilitating and delivering training and development, audit, development of pathways and procedures in line with best practice and NICE guidelines.
The individual will utilise theoretical knowledge, advanced clinical skills and specialist expertise to progress decision-making and develop plans of care to facilitate the patient journey. This will occur in collaboration and discussion with the multi-disciplinary team.
