With a particular focus on original flavours and authentic taste, this UK market leading company pride themselves on a smooth process from NPD to finalised products using their specialist knowledge and experience.About the Specifications Technologist job The purpose of your role will be to work closely with suppliers, internal teams and customers to create and maintain accurate product specifications, ensuring consistency and compliance. Key tasks Complete, monitor and control customer specifications Completion of raw material risk assessments including food safety, threats, vulnerability and integrity Manage and handle supplier non-conformances Review and update of all finished product specifications against risk assessments Be part of the site Internal Audit team, to support with completing audits on time About You Ideally have 3 years’ experience within a food manufacturing Technical / Quality role which will include knowledge of supplier approval, raw materials, technical specifications and risk assessments. In addition: Ideally a degree in Food Science, Food Technology or a related field A basic understanding of food legislations and regulations A strong understanding of food safety regulations and labelling requirements Computer literate, particularly around Excel spreadsheets More details The Specifications Technologist job is based in Cheshire and is paying to £30,000 according to your experience. The package includes a bonus and employee discount scheme with 31 days annual leave (including Bank Holidays) and flexible working – Monday to Friday.
