The Role of Sponsorship Sales Manager

As Sponsorship Sales Manager, you will be selling across 2 events per year (to begin with) which attract up to 1,000 people each and have various content streams as well as an exhibition and showcase space. You will be selling all manner of commercial opportunity from thought leadership and demonstrations through to exhibition space and advertising. You will sell to all manner of different companies from Google, Amazon, and Viacom through to games developers themselves and will also benefit from a little international travel.

Requirements for this Sponsorship Sales Manager position

  • 3+ years of conference sponsorship or exhibition sales experience
  • A high level of articulation and confidence
  • Strong face-to-face sales experience
  • Adaptable approach to selling - someone who can balance the seemingly casual approach of many of these clients with the high level of professionalism that they expect. Some of these clients may dress in hoodies for work, but they are exceptionally professional and very switched on!
  • A stable career history
  • An entrepreneurial spirit and drive
  • Someone with a proven track record of exceeding revenue targets
