Purpose of Role
Grosvenor Property UK’s primary purpose is to create, manage and adapt places by putting commercial, social and environmental outcomes on an equal footing. A key part of this is ensuring that our destinations on the London Estate are visible, activated and celebrated to deliver long term value in an era of increasing competition and changing consumer behaviour.
Mayfair and Belgravia operate an annual events and activation calendar and have opportunity to expand use of the world-renowned estate to commercial partners. This newly created role will proactively develop commercial sponsorship deals with partners who have complimentary brands to the estate, and manage existing events in the neighbourhoods.
The role will be focussed on forming partnerships with relevant brands to secure sponsorship funding, attract a new audience to Mayfair and Belgravia and to support our tenants’ success.
Key Responsibilities
Sell the London Estate neighbourhoods and campaigns as a sponsorship proposition for commercial partners, forming a sponsorship strategy and creating marketing literature and data to support the sales process
Network with and develop new commercial partners for the estate, seeking out opportunities in multiple categories (such as travel, finance, FMCG) by proactively approaching relevant companies
Secure sponsorship from partners who are complimentary to the estate, adding vibrancy and animation to the neighbourhoods as well as delivering sponsorship revenue
Ensure brand partners will deliver to our marketing KPIs, bringing new visitors to the estate and raising awareness of the London Estate
Manage end-to-end process of sponsorship including delivery of partnerships and financial reporting
Manage the commercial hire of our public spaces for private use
Project management of events in Mayfair and Belgravia, including operations, administration, production and delivery, to ensure events are delivered efficiently, on time and within budget, as well as adhering to health and safety and council governance
Managing relationships with key suppliers, event production agencies and delivery partners, including sourcing and negotiating contracts
Advocate and use our environmental and social impact strategies to help create value with key stakeholders.
Key Requirements
Experience in securing and building sponsorship partnerships is essential
Highly creative and commercial
Strong writer and presenter, able to adapt communication messages for different audiences
Experience of managing events and selling spaces for event use
Excels at stakeholder management internally and externally
Highly confident, able to network with and sell to prospective partners
Commercial and analytical
