What the Role Covers:

  • Ownership of content strategy for assigned GPC projects
  • Conducting industry research and data analysis to identify the most appropriate strategic approaches to client projects
  • Working with local and global social media outreach teams on influencer strategy, ensuring outputs meet client briefs
  • Overall measuring the quality of social media service from the agency

Reporting and Communication Structure

  • This role reports to and advises the Country Social Lead in the agency. 

Account Management & Project Management 

  • Be clients day-to-day point of contact and partner for all things pertaining to social media and influencer engagement in the Philippines
  • Management of overall paid influencer engagement budgets and costing 
  • Overall management of social media and outreach scope of work in Philippines and upselling new relevant scope of work to existing clients to drive business growth. 

Social Media & Outreach Strategy and Management

  • Spearhead and lead all Social Media and outreach strategy efforts in the Philippines. Be Philippines’ brand guardian of the brand, managing a team of social media and influencer outreach team members
  • Working closely with other Social Media Managers in Asia and other Global markets, to ensure local brands efforts is aligned accordingly. 
  • Keeping up to date with brand’sindustryandsocialplatformsmakingproactiverecommendations based on trends and insights
  • Community management across channels responding and replying to comments and queries in a timely manner when necessary 
  • To bring together data, research and understanding to create tailored social media strategies
  • Assist with new business efforts, pitches and proposals

Content Management

  • Write, plan and schedule monthly content calendar based on the brands editorial and marketing activities, local events / occasions and content pillars. Own the monthly social calendar and plan and deliver content for the month.
  • Identify key conversation points / topics of interest by community channeled through Direct Messages / Facebook group, use insights gathered to plan upcoming content for Social Media
  • Help with creative ideas around improving our social presence and be responsible for keeping on top of social media developments and trends in your market.
  • To ensure social media, outreach and creative teams continue to produce highly creative and engaging content that drives performance.

Performance review and personal development

Bi-Annual review by Country Social Lead on the basis of:

  • Performance of social media strategies for client projects
  • Building strong relationships with client contacts, including client feedback and satisfaction 
  • Responsiveness of clients to client’s briefs and requests 
  • Resourcefulness, independence and ability to work and deliver in a fast-paced environment under tight timelines
  • Quality assurance and attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task across different projects
  • Good relationships with other team members locally and globally
