Staff Nurse Renal & Haematology Triage Unit

Employer Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust Location London Salary £34,089 to £41,498 a year pa inclusive and pa inclusive pro rota Closing date 27 May 2024

We are currently looking nurses to join our expanding acute assessment unit that provides direct access to emergency care for specialist haematology and renal patients based at Hammersmith Hospital. The Renal & Haematology Triage Unit (RHTU) was successfully established back in 2016 as a unique 24/7 emergency treatment pathway that includes operating a 24 hour helpline for haematology patients. It is accessible for a pre-defined group of patients that meet certain medical criteria thereby reducing the reliance on patients needing to access the emergency departments that are located off site and away from where the main base for expert haematology and renal care is provided. We will support you in developing key skills and an expert knowledge base in caring for patients with a wide range of medical conditions relevant to the clinical specialties. We are committed to the professional development of our teams, providing further education and training opportunities to support the career progression of individuals. So if you would like to be involved in this exciting service development, working as part of a multi-skilled team, to improve emergency pathways for specialist haematology and renal patients, then we would like to hear from you.
