As an Inventory Controller, you'll get a kick out of ensuring customer satisfaction, making sure they receive the right materials promptly. Processes here are simple and if you can find a way to improve a process, go for it.
This role isn't just about managing inventory; it's about being part of a vibrant team that values camaraderie and a bit of fun. You'll kickstart your week with inventory checks and dive into supplier deliveries, ensuring the production line runs smoothly. Wednesdays are for administrative tasks, and on Thursdays, you'll dispatch materials for after-sales support. Finally, Fridays (the POW WOW) are for reflection and celebration of the week's achievements.
You'll work closely with production and after-sales, they'll be your two customers. And your job is super important because if they don't have the materials required, they can't build. This role is imperative to their success.
In this role, you'll need an engineering or mechanical background, familiarity with MRP systems, and knowledge of Bill of Materials.
