Job Description
We are looking for an experienced, hand-on and ambitious individual to help manage and transform all aspects of the stock and inventory in our Flagship and largest branch in New Southgate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and streamline all processes and procedures involving stock and inventory held in the branch.
- Work to proactively identify and implement process improvements where possible.
- Manage and develop the stock and goods-in teams.
- Inspire a high performance culture across the branch regarding stock management.
- Work regularly through stock profile to reduce overstock/slow moving stock.
- Regularly communicate with other departments and senior stakeholders to ensure that they are best supported.
- Ensure current inventory is aligned with current and forecasted demand in the market.
- Together with the Branch Manager and Group Head of Stock to directly oversee the bi-annual stock take.
- Help optimise the merchandising of inventory in the store together with the head of merchandising.
- Ensuring key performance indicators are in place to help manage and reward staff.
Person Specification:
- Have a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.
- Strong and natural communicative, leadership and management skills.
- A successful track record in bringing improving processes and procedures.
- Data driven in approach to problem solving.
