Role Overview


SEEN Group is looking for a Strategist who’s passionate about the beauty industry to join our growing SEEN Works division. The right candidate will have an eye for what’s happening now and next in the beauty category who will help to guide our clients to the right strategic solutions to transform and accelerate their brand in the marketplace.


We’re looking for someone with great instincts as well as a good grasp of how to work with data with experience utilizing social listening, search, and social media to substantiate their insights. A background and interest in PR Communications, Influencer Marketing, Social Media and Brand Strategy is preferred.


This role will be client facing, with varied project asks across both existing and new business pitches. You’ll be someone who likes working in a dynamic environment with plenty of collaboration alongside other specialists within creative and communications. You’ll be a strong presenter who’s loves guiding conversations and holding inspirational sessions with SEEN Group’s clients and the wider agency group.


Roles & Responsibilities


Research, Insight and Trend Forecasting Skills

  • Research, create and present trends, intelligence and thought leadership reports to the agency and the agency’s clients that show data and ideas in a creative and visually engaging way to inspire key external and internal stakeholders.
  • Produce insight and trends reports, create presentations based on client and internal briefs, executed to a high, client-ready standard.
  • Utilise multiple data sources (qualitative and quantitative) to analyse existing and new clients’ business areas and identify opportunities brand, creative and PR communications strategies.
  • Show an in-depth understanding of established and emerging media and PR channels (including all digital and print media, influencers, events and experiential etc) and the results that clients are able to achieve from implementing plans across platforms and tactics.


Strategy Skills

  • Be able to able to comprehensively dissect the client brief, identify the client and consumer problem to set the tone for strategies across brand, product launch and campaign.
  • Be able to identity and clearly articulate target consumer groups to inform strategic direction.
  • Source, identify and verbalise compelling insights to inform strategies and inspiring, original creative ideas and stories.
  • Ideate and brief campaign ideas to Creative and Communications teams, supported by recommendations for development of ideas and tactical executions across multiple channels.
  • Be knowledgeable and mindful of measures of success and be able to write KPI frameworks and guide ideas to ensure effectiveness.


Specialist Knowledge

  • Make recommendations, establish relationships with and implement into practice Social Media Listening, Social Media Management, Audience Analysis and Digital Analytics Tools.
  • Stay up to date on all relevant category innovations, trends and relevant voices which will inspire the wider SEEN Group team and elevate communications plans above the competition ensuring excellence in delivery.
  • Show a comprehensive understanding of social media platforms and their impact on other channels in the media mix and share this knowledge with the wider team.
  • Bring-forward opportunistic ideas proactively to take advantage of new technologies, platform launches, social and digital innovations and ensure these are shared with the wider team.
