We are currently looking for a talented and driven Structural Engineer to join our bustling team in Dover! As a Structural Engineer at the Port of Dover, you'll be immersed in a diverse array of projects ranging from heritage assets to cutting-edge developments. You'll conduct detailed calculations, collaborate with engineers and stakeholders, and act as a technical advisor under the guidance of a Senior Structural Engineer. Your role will also involve designing and assessing various structural types such as bridges, jetties, and industrial units, managing inspection programmes, and steering small projects from inception to completion. All while contributing to the long-term strategy for maintaining the ports vital assets. Hours of Work:

37.5 hours per week Structural Engineer Requirements: BEng/MEng and working towards Chartered Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers or Institution of Structural Engineers Previous relevant experience of undertaking structural designs and calculations to applicable structural codes/standards. Previous design experience could be related to buildings, highways or maritime structures. Effective communication of structural concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
