Supervising Social Worker – Cambridgeshire – Up to £42K
Here at Hampton’s Resourcing we are proud to be working in partnership with a close-knit, bespoke Independent Fostering Agency in the search for a motivated and aspirational Supervising Social Worker to join their team covering Cambridgeshire, Peterborough, Norfolk and surrounding areas. They are dedicated to supporting children who have experience significant trauma, this is done by a like-minded team who come together to change the lives of young people. As a result of growth, our passionate and innovative client are looking for a Supervising Social Worker to continue the successful work they do to support foster carers and the young people living with them.
Our client’s mission is to work collaboratively with foster families to provide a high quality service which meets the needs of children and young people in care and to provide them with a positive and nurturing family life which supports and enhances their social, emotional and educational development.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- will provide professional supervision and developmental support, advice and guidance to a small number of fostering families based in the South East
- that children, young people and foster carers receive a high-quality service, and that progress and achievements are recognised and celebrated
- prepare and present clear and concise records and reports when it comes to dealing with caseloads
Skills and Experience:
- have a Degree in Social Work (BA), Master's Degree in Social Work, or a Diploma in Social Work (DipSW)
- stable career history and knowledge of fostering services
- sense of ability to support the needs of young people who have experienced trauma in a therapeutic way
- driving licence and access to a vehicle
- have experience working with an Independent Fostering Agency
Salary: Up to £42K + paid mileage
