Job Description
Agratas are seeking an experienced Supplier Development Engineer based on a hybrid basis from our Coventry office to support the construction and industrialisation of our recently announced state-of-the-art, multi-billion-pound battery manufacturing facility near Bridgwater in Somerset. Using your expertise and knowledge within the automotive, aerospace or other industrial program quality management your role will support the delivery of one of the largest ever investments in the UK automotive sector.

Key Duties:
- Supplier Assessment: new / potential supplier evaluation, ensuring the supplier sites meet all requirements for manufacturing quality.
- Continuous Improvement: collaborate with tool makers and suppliers to promote best practices in their process controls and product assurance activities.
- Problem Resolution: analyse complex quality issues, non-conformances and production problems
- APQP and PPAP: project management of the process, managing review meetings, setting and reporting KPIs to ensure all targets are achieved.
- Concern Management: owning the process of concern resolution, driving progress through review meetings and reporting.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Experience of cross-functional change management projects gained at either a Tier 1 automotive supplier or automotive OEM
- Have a good understanding of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC and 8D processes and methodologies.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Strong analytical and communication skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of MS apps to prepare reports and presentations, including SharePoint and Power BI is desired.
- Familiarity with supplier quality management from concept-through-industrialisation-to-operation is desired.
