Supplier Quality Manager
Agratas are seeking an experienced Supplier Quality Manager based on a hybrid basis from our Coventry office to support the construction and industrialisation of our recently announced state-of-the-art, multi-billion-pound battery manufacturing facility near Bridgwater in Somerset.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
· Supplier Assessment: new / potential supplier evaluation, ensuring the supplier sites meet all requirements for manufacturing quality.
· Continuous Improvement: work collaboratively with suppliers to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications for all supplied materials & parts.
· Problem Resolution: investigating quality issues, non-conformances and production problems.
· New Products: manage the APQP process, working with Engineering and the supplier to meet all QCD requirements.
· PPAP: manage all aspects of PPAP document delivery and approval, capacity confirmation and Run at Rate.
· On-Site Support: provide technical assistance to solve concerns and improve processes.
Essential Experience:
· Strong technical knowledge of either chemical, or a related industry, production methods, bulk materials / and all aspects of their supply chains or automotive, or similar industry, production methods and supply chain such as metal stamping, welding and plastic injection moulding.
· Proven experience of auditing production processes to ISO 9001/ IATF 16949 / ISO 13485 etc
· Strong analytical and communication skills.
· Attention to detail.
Desired Experience:
· Prior experience of product development methodologies including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC and 8D processes would be an advantage.
