Job Description
The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for:
- Overseeing and managing the entire supply chain process from procurement to delivery.
- Developing and implementing effective strategic plans to improve supply chain operations.
- Collaborating with key internal teams and external suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
- Analysing and evaluating supply chain data to identify areas for improvement and efficiency.
- Monitoring and managing supplier performance to ensure quality and timely delivery.
- Ensuring compliance with industry and company standards in all supply chain processes.
- Leading and motivating a team to achieve set objectives and targets.
- Handling any supply chain issues or disruptions swiftly and effectively.
- Supporting business growth to develop global supply chain functions.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Supply Chain Manager should have:
- A degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in supply chain management in the retail industry.
- Ability or willingness to overhaul and set up a new Supply Chain Team within an SME.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret supply chain data.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Familiarity with supply chain software and tools.
- Ability to work in the office 5 days per week in Malmesbury.
