Job Description

The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing and managing the entire supply chain process from procurement to delivery.
  • Developing and implementing effective strategic plans to improve supply chain operations.
  • Collaborating with key internal teams and external suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
  • Analysing and evaluating supply chain data to identify areas for improvement and efficiency.
  • Monitoring and managing supplier performance to ensure quality and timely delivery.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry and company standards in all supply chain processes.
  • Leading and motivating a team to achieve set objectives and targets.
  • Handling any supply chain issues or disruptions swiftly and effectively.
  • Supporting business growth to develop global supply chain functions.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Supply Chain Manager should have:

  • A degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in supply chain management in the retail industry.
  • Ability or willingness to overhaul and set up a new Supply Chain Team within an SME.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret supply chain data.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with supply chain software and tools.
  • Ability to work in the office 5 days per week in Malmesbury.
