You will be joining a leading multi-billion dollar company in the food ingredients sector with sites located across the globe. They thrive on creativity and innovation by embracing new technologies to push the boundaries of food science.


As a member of the Site Leadership Team, you will manage the supply chain department to ensure that customer expectations are met whilst achieving all corporate policies, standards and key performance indicators. You will optimise the supply chain operations to achieve cost effective, safe and sustainable solutions, in a manner which allows for high productivity within the factory, suitable warehouse utilisation and effective logistics. The role will have a strong emphasis on continually developing the systems, policies and will ensure that staff keep to an optimal operation.


You will line manage the Customer Services Manager, Demand Planning Manager and Inventory Manager.


This role requires previous experience of managing supply chain processes within a manufacturing organisation as well as experience of managing and developing ERP systems. We are looking for a confident leader and self-starter with excellent communication and management skills, and the ability, and proven track record, to manage a successful department through supporting managers.


The salary is on at up to £57,000 to £67,500 per annum. 25 days a year annual leave (rising to 27 over time), a pension with 6% company contributions, 2 x salary death in service benefit, health care cash plan, an EAP, holiday buy and sell back scheme, cycle to work scheme, as well as many others. The hours are Monday – Friday, 35 hours per week (as the site runs 24/7 you may have to work outside usual hours on occasion).
