Interim Supply Chain Manager – Defence
Location: South Coast or Bristol/Hybrid
Contract Duration: 6 Months
Security Clearance: SC Clearance Preferred
Are you an experienced Supply Chain professional with a passion for the Defence sector? We are looking for an Interim Supply Chain Manager to join our team for a 6-month contract, with the flexibility to work from either the South Coast, Bristol, or remotely in a hybrid capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Supplier Alliances: Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with key suppliers to enhance overall supply chain performance, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Supplier Performance Management: Actively manage and monitor supplier performance to meet and exceed cost, quality, and delivery targets.
- Subcontract Engineering Support: Oversee supplier selection and manage subcontract engineering development work packages, ensuring project timelines and objectives are met.
- Cost, Quality, and Delivery Optimization: Collaborate with existing and new suppliers to continuously improve cost efficiency, product quality, and delivery schedules, driving increased profitability for the business.
- Risk Management: Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain risk management plans to safeguard the business against potential disruptions.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven track record in supply chain management within the Defence or related sectors.
- Security Clearance: SC clearance is preferred, allowing for immediate involvement in sensitive projects.
- Skills: Strong strategic thinking, negotiation, and supplier management skills, with a focus on delivering measurable improvements.
- Flexibility: Ability to work on-site in the South Coast or Bristol, with options for hybrid working.
