  • Support International Markets’ new openings and work closely with markets and other Supply Chain Managers overseas to maintain a vigorous and in-depth understanding of regional and global opportunities. This includes across categories like protein, ingredients, and packaging materials, and finished products to include:
  • Category Management - Internal Demand/Supply Market, Category planning, and value analysis.
  • Strategic Sourcing - Competitive bidding using RFI, RFP protocols, Negotiation, Contracting.
  • Supplier Management, Integration, & Business Alignment - material quality, price, service, and delivery.
  • Price Risk Management - monitor market fundamentals of supply/demand factors & technical analysis to adjust or renew material pricing to maintain financial reporting integrity.
  • Will be responsible for all Supply Chain activities and initiatives included in the Stage Gate New Market Entry process to guarantee a successful on-time opening.
  • Identify new supply solutions/materials/services required for new products or product changes not on contract, rationalizing requirements, or items, and identify on-contract alternative or replacement to satisfy requirements
  • Identify new supplier entrants, offerings, and leverage-ability for Wingstop sustainable advantage.
  • Plans Business Partners futures needs and perform Supplier capabilities analysis to guarantee growth, balancing Supply and Demand while supporting targeted customer service levels, new product introductions, and reduce risk of inventory obsolescence in the new markets.
  • Will Champion Distribution Freight / Logistics implementation and optimization by category – carrier and inbound analysis/process/project/program to establish standards and methodologies to improve KPI’s across markets.
  • Will support implementation and Rollout of SRM across markets.
  • System record maintenance/reporting and buying support to include: contract entry (time or quantity based), contract balance reconciliation with suppliers, source list, purchasing info records, create and update contract expiration logs, Material Master (MM) construction/work flow, A/P inquiries, forecasting to suppliers.
  • MRP analysis/replenishment review of required stocking levels for materials in the responsible regions and update master data as necessary
  • Collect and analyze industry/market and internal data relating to protein, agricultural commodities, packaging substrates along with comparative analysis.
  • Utilize data analytics to create actionable reports enabling the optimization of procurement sourcing strategies (run historical and forecast queries to be used by Category Managers for contracting)
  • Implementation and standardization of procedures regarding Vendor Managed Inventory and apply the concepts of integrating our supply base to enable real time transactions through VMI.
  • Responsible for the implementation and coordination of supplier transitions with cross-functional teams and matrix resources tied to strategic sourcing activities (including overseeing material and vendor change requests).
  • Support the development of internal and external category profiles; contribute to the development of Total Cost of Ownership models.
  • Support the development of RFI, RFP requests, supplier recommendations, and selection criteria including qualitative and quantitative analysis
  • Assist with the development of fact-based negotiation strategies, development of high level and detailed benefits cases and compliance with supplier agreements.
  • Work with Wingstop subject matter experts and internal customers to gather and assess business requirements and contribute to the development of category implementation plans.
  • Leverage supplier intelligence, monitor market fundamentals of supply/demand factors & technical analysis to adjust or renew material pricing to maintain financial reporting integrity


WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in supply chain, business management finance or economics.
  • At least 5-8 years experience in a Supply Chain role
  • Six SIGMA and other preferred Supply Chain certifications
  • Proficient Office, Power BI and advanced systems skills preferred.

  • Gross Annual Salary at £70k-£90k dependent on experience.
  • You will be entitled to 25 days of paid annual leave plus UK bank holidays. You will be entitled to carry over 5 days of unused annual leave entitlement per year.
