Job Description


We are looking for an experienced Logistics Optimisation Data Analyst to join our team in Supply Chain. You will use various methods to transform raw data into useful data. For example, you'll create reports and conduct statistical analysis and trends.
To succeed in this Logistics Optimisation Data Analyst position, you should have strong analytical skills and the ability to combine data from different sources. Logistics Optimisation Data Analyst skills also include familiarity with several programs and knowledge of IT Systems.
They construct datasets that are easy to analyse and support company requirements.
Logistics Optimisation Data Analyst implement methods to improve data reliability and quality. They combine raw information from different sources to create consistent and readable formats. They also develop databases that enable data extraction and transformation of meaningful reports for the Logistic functions.

Job Description
- 5 days p/wk (Mon-Fri) around relevant site core hours (7am – 6pm Mon – Thurs, 7am – 12.30pm Fri).
- Hours required to work per week are 37.00 unless otherwise stated (this does not include lunch breaks).
- Start and finish times to be agreed with local Line Management, in accordance with local site core hours.
- Lunch break (unpaid) is 42 minutes which will automatically be deducted each working day from 12.30pm to 13.12pm by the electronic time management system.
- Dependant on workload, local management may request more or less hours are worked within this contract.
The successful candidate will be required to perform tasks suitable to the internal level of this role. The role will contain, but will not be limited to, the following:
Analyse and organize raw data
Evaluate business needs and objectives
Interpret trends and patterns in the supply chain
Conduct complex data analysis and report on results
Create/support the producing of regular reports for the Logistics Function
Present Reports to Senior Management
Combine raw information from different sources
Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability for the Logistic Functions
Identify opportunities for data acquisition
Responsibilities
MS Excel expert/advanced level, with an ability to create pivots/macros
An understanding of IT systems and the principles and approaches that influence their performance of the Supply Chain
You will be customer focussed, have a ‘can do' attitude and be able to create IT solutions for business requirements.
You will have a technical background together with the ability to understand technical instructions and communicate these onto others.
Experience of Visualisation tools such as PowerBI and MRP/ERP Systems.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to resolve issues that do not have routine solutions
Ability to interact with and influence stakeholders at various levels of the organisation
Strong communication skills in order to articulate and deliver key messages
Proven experience within a Supply Chain/Logistics or Manufacturing Environment
Desirable
Understanding of STEM subject or equivalent experience
Experience of Tableau, Inforos would be an advantage

The candidate must have excellent skills with Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and have good Word and Project skills Communication, Team Working and Motivation are Essential.
