Supply Chain Planning Analyst
I am currently recruiting for an experienced Supply Chain Planning Analyst to join a leading brand. Sitting within the Supply Chain Management team, this role has a big part to play in converting data into key business intelligence and relevant commercial decisions.
Typical responsibilities of the role will include:
Working with the team to develop and execute of supply chain plans, both tactical and strategic.
Working with key internal department and stakeholders, providing analysis & insight to ensure accurate data driven decision making.
Leading specific supply chain projects for the team ensuring delivery of a streamlined and efficient distribution and home delivery capability to support our growth plans.
Conduct ad-hoc analysis and modelling as required to support the various internal functions providing insight to ensure data driven actions are taken.
Make recommendations based on data analysis to come to meaningful conclusions.
Conduct regular statistical & trend analysis to identify correlations and patterns, including forecasting models.
Work with the various merchandise managers to ensure space occupancy is within agreed set limits.
Working cross functionally with buying, merchandising, freight forwarders, stores, suppliers and operations teams to share business information. Reporting progress and variances to the plan to key stakeholders.
Using Power BI to create reports for key stakeholders and IT & BI Business partners to support the simplification & automation of business processes.
Management and control of supply chain forecasting processes, maximising availability of product from suppliers into stores.
Continuously improve processes within role, simplifying and streamlining operations to maximise efficiencies.
The ideal candidate will be / have:
- Proven experience in Supply Chain and Planning Analysis within Retail, FMCG or Manufacturing is essential
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes and knowledge of warehouse & logistics operations.
- A logical and efficient work ethic with a strong attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills and be confident in liaising at various levels within the business.
- Strong IT skills especially MS Office, Excel experience with different data analytics / dashboarding / visualization and reporting tools (such as Adobe Analytics, Tableau, PowerBI)
- Ability to analyse & clarify details from various sources.
- Comfortable working in fast paced environments with a strong team focus.
