Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Motherwell, is currently looking to recruit a Classroom Support worker, for a contract until June 2025, on a rate of £14.70/hour PAYE. This will be part time working 2-3 days per week. Provide classroom support for learners to enable access to the curriculum. Assessment and Exam arrangement support as required. - Monitor learner support needs. - Organise and prioritise technical/classroom support to meet service requirements. - Provide classroom support for learners to enable access to the curriculum - Liaise with teaching staff as required to facilitate student learning. - Support learners in their use of the equipment and assistive software available. - Monitor learner support needs - Provide feedback to the Access & Educational Support Team. - Organise and prioritise technical/classroom support to meet service requirements - Contribute to the maintenance of statistics to support monitoring, review and evaluation of the service provided by the College. - Encourage learners to be independent and effective within the College, and the community. - - Previous experience of working with people with disabilities or other support needs • Computer literate – good working knowledge of Microsoft packages • Experience of note taking
